Pratical informations

Where are we located?

The starting point of our adventures is the Roscanvel slipway, Crozon Peninsula. You can park your vehicle directly at the harbor (Parking 1) or in the parking area located 100 meters uphill, opposite the church (Parking 2).

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to peacefully enjoy the scenery before boarding!

What should you bring on board?

  • Weather : Comfortable clothing is recommended, along with an extra layer in case you need it. Weather conditions can change quickly, and it often feels cooler at sea than on land.

  • Sun protection :

    • a cap or hat,

    • sunglasses,

    • and sunscreen.

  • Please remember to bring a reusable water bottle or a bottle of water.

  • If you are sensitive to seasickness, keep in mind that the Brest harbor generally offers very calm sailing conditions, with little swell felt on board. However, if you prefer to take motion sickness medication, please let me know upon arrival.

  • The boat is equipped with toilets.

  • There is shelter on board if the weather changes.

  • We take care of the boat’s deck, so shoes are removed before boarding. Feel free to bring socks or clean deck shoes if you prefer not to stay barefoot.

Safety

Your safety is our top priority. At ROBSAIL, we take care of you from the moment you step on board. Before every departure, we take the time to provide a complete safety briefing and introduce you to the boat and the onboard safety guidelines.

Appropriate life jackets are provided for every passenger. Your skipper is always available to listen to any concerns you may have and will gladly adapt the sailing experience to ensure your trip remains a moment of pure enjoyment.

Weather

We carefully monitor weather conditions before every departure to ensure the best possible experience. If conditions do not allow safe navigation, the skipper reserves the right to postpone or cancel the trip.

In such cases, you will have the choice between:

  • rescheduling your outing to another available date,

  • or receiving a full refund.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation by the skipper :

    • Rescheduling the session.

    • If rescheduling is not possible: full refund.

  • Cancellation by the participant :

    • Up to 7 days before departure → full refund

    • Between 7 days and 48 hours before departure → 50% retained

    • Less than 48 hours before departure → full amount due

Who can take part?

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, a few common-sense rules apply during our sailing trips:

  • Children : Young sailors are welcome on board. They remain under the responsibility of their parents, and wearing a life jacket is mandatory at all times (provided on board). All safety instructions given before departure must be strictly followed.

  • Accessibility : Thanks to the catamaran’s excellent stability, the boat offers a particularly reassuring experience. We are happy to welcome elderly guests and people with disabilities, adapting the program to everyone’s abilities whenever possible.

    • Technical note : At the moment, the boat is unfortunately not equipped to accommodate wheelchairs (no accessible boarding ramp available).

  • Pets : For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are unfortunately not allowed on board.
